Say hello to Dr. Brian Brausa, a proud Roscommon native who has dedicated his career to keeping Northern Michigan on its feet literally! A graduate of Roscommon High School (Class of ’95), Dr. Brausa carried his small town roots with him through Albion College and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where he not only mastered the art of podiatry but also met his wife and business partner, Dr. Tracy Bacik. Talk about a perfect pair!
After honing his skills during residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI, Dr. Brausa felt the pull of home. Together with Dr. Bacik, he returned to Roscommon and opened Ankle & Foot Associates of Northern Michigan, bringing world-class care back to the community he loves.
Dr. Brausa specializes in diabetic wound care and sports injuries, combining cutting edge techniques with a compassionate touch. As a board certified expert in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery, he’s here to help you put your best foot forward whether you’re tackling a marathon or managing diabetes.

After graduating from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2003, Dr. Bacik completed her residency at Providence Hospital Southfield University of Michigan, where she refined her expertise in comprehensive foot and ankle care. It was there that her professional path and her heart found direction. She met her future husband and practice partner, Dr. Brian Brausa, and together, they’ve been walking side by side ever since.
Now proudly serving the Roscommon community at Ankle & Foot Associates of Northern Michigan, Dr. Bacik brings a gentle, attentive approach to every patient she sees. Whether you’re dealing with bunions, chronic heel pain, or diabetic foot concerns, Dr. Bacik is dedicated to providing personalized treatment options that help you get back to doing what you love.
